Hailstone 2020 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon

The beginning of the 2020 growing season received significant rainfall and late soil moisture. With a long, warm summer and a few heat spikes, the early morning fog played its role in delivering very balanced and expressive wines. The end of the season resulted in a nice, slow cooling trend which helped to preserve the acidity and structure, yet releasing layers of vibrant fruit flavors, dark color and soft tannins. The 2020 "Proprietor's Reserve" Cabernet Sauvignon is energetic and vibrant with layers of black cherries, tobacco, red licorice, hints of cedar, white pepper and mountain sage.
