Lively on the palate, it offers dense raspberry, blueberry and blackcurrant framed by vibrant acidity and persistent layers of firm tannins. The defining freshness of the 2017 vintage is exquisitely preserved here while also demonstrating substantial power. Nowhere is this more evident than in the wine’s lingering finish that recalls freshly roasted coffee beans and cocoa. The wine delivers great pleasure today owing to its expressiveness, but will develop for 15-20 years.
