Tournesol 2022 Sauvignon Blanc-Semillon

Tournesol Sauvignon Blanc-Sémillon was first produced in 2011 as an homage to the white wines of the Bordeaux region. Comprised predominantly of zesty Sauvignon Blanc, the addition of Sémillon produces a wine that is fresh and bright with a rich, full-bodied palate. Citrus, gooseberry and passionfruit qualities are balanced by nuances of honey, floral aromatics and minerality, resulting in an elegant and complex wine. The Sauvignon Blanc grapes are sourced from the highly acclaimed Farina Vineyard on Sonoma Mountain. East facing, sunswept and breezy, with well-draining rocky soils, slope and elevation, make the site superb for the Clone 1 and Musque it yields. The balance of Sémillon is sourced from the small block planted at the Tournesol Estate Stream Vineyard.
