Moone Tsai 2023 Sonoma Coast Chardonnay

With the much-heralded 2023 vintage creating quite a stir, it gives us great pleasure to begin the unveiling of their eagerly anticipated 2023 wine releases. First among them is the 2023 Sonoma Coast Chardonnay. With only 188 cases produced, this Moone Tsai favorite presents what we love about chardonnay from the acclaimed Charles Heintz Vineyard. It displays an alluring nose offering notes of freshly cut pear, melon, and hints of raw almonds while the palate falls in line to feature bright citrus (mandarin, grapefruit), lemon candy and crumbled ginger snap. Delicately structured via partial MLF, with aging for 16 months in 55% new French oak, the wine finishes with finesse and a flourish.
