R.A. Harrison 2022 Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon

The 2022 Oakville Cab has aromas of red and black fruit, leather, cassis, violets and sweet cedar. Gorgeous on entry, elegant in its fruit notes that lead with blackberry and black cherry, leading into cocoa nibs, graphite and cedar.  Fine grained but substantive tannins. Distinct mineral character and tension typical of Oakville hillside fruit . The wine keeps giving revealing wild herbs, Sagebrush, chocolate, and brown spices. The wine is elegant yet powerful, with beautiful structure and freshness that lingers on your palate.
